Family Education Program

Glenbeigh believes that chemical dependency is a family disease: everyone in the family and anyone close to the person in treatment has been affected in some way.

We strongly recommend that patient's family members and loved ones attend the Family Education program*. It is a forum that provides participants with the opportunity to learn about the disease of addiction, the recovery process and how to deal with feelings and concerns as they begin their own journey of healing.

Most treatment centers charge additional fees for family program services. Glenbeigh believes family participation is an integral part of the treatment process therefore family education is offered at no additional cost.

*Due to the nature and intensity of the day, counselors recommend no more than two people attend the Family Education program each week. If a child is participating, they need to be at least twelve (12) years of age.
